There may be many factors but I remember a few years ago an Indian couple in Thailand were caught stealing.

@Raja Venkatesh they only take the one way ticket and start to search jobs there and never return.... So it's not gonna change anytime soon, no one likes to comeback after having a look at better life there.

@CREEPY their passport is strong not the visa both are different. Only 82 countries provide visa free access to chinese. India is just one country behind china. So both are on the same level

@Pi A China has achieved more development than india so chinese are feeling less inclined to leave their country - simple as that.

As an Indian I think this is mainly because Indians are rude. It just doesnt fix itself unless 2 or 3 generations pass by. And it all depends on how we behave in front of others.
